Alan Zoltowski – Cat 2/M35/M45+

Age 45, Canton, MI.  USCF Road Category 2

A marathon runner and triathlete in the 80’s and early 90’s, Alan began road racing in 1993-1994 with the Tri-City Cyclists, working his way through the ranks to Cat 2 status by 1996. From 1995-2001 he rode with the Alpine Cycling Team, Extang and then Team Revolution. Family commitments and knee issues from 2001-2005 saw Alan hang up his bike for awhile.

In 2006, with Team HDI-Giant Alan got back in shape and in the months of July and August scored 4 victories in the Masters 35+ Category.  With two kids in diapers, he hung up the bike once again and got fat in 2007 and 2008.  Alan is back, dropping the weight and looking forward to racing once again in 2009/2010 with Team Giant-Michigan.

Career Highlights:  2-Time Masters Road Champion, 2-Time Cat 3 State Champion, 2-Time Silver Medalist Masters Criterium Championships; 1/2 dozen Cat 2 victories 1996-1999.
