Scott is going to open up his 2010 race season with the Midwest Collegiate road series. He attends school at Lindsey Wilson College on a mountain bike scholarship. Scott comes back in the first week of May and races with Team Giant-Michigan for the spring and summer.This will be Scott’s second year on TGM.

Scott started racing about three years ago. He started to find that cycling was something he had passion for, always wanting to go out and ride. Racing is fun, but going out and riding for fitness is his favorite part. In early season 2009, Terry from TGM, took Scott to NC to train in the mountains. It showed Scott what riding a bike was all about. He worked hard all week and it put Scott at another level. Scott raced a good 2009 season in the Michigan USAC. Lindsey Wilson picked Scott up soon after. He raced a hard mountain bike season in the Midwest and ended up with 3rd overall in the Midwest Collegiate Series. He went out to Mountain bike nationals and placed 21st out of 75 riders in the Div 1 Category. Scott came back to Michigan to finish off his season in November to race Iceman. He ended up breaking away in the first 10 miles and taking the win in Expert 19-29.

Scott is looking forward to the 2010 race season.
